Who is Nicole Weisz? Nicole first cross our path when she got involved in our Something Black show back at the start of May, as a result of the Black show we invited her to come and be part of the Interact show. Who is she? What’s show going to do?
“My diverse practice revolves around themes of human interaction and social engagement. The driving force behind my work comes from engaging and reacting to the world around me – attempting to make sense of contemporary living and commenting on societies’ complexities and idiosyncracies. The work focuses on social and political issues, in particular, communication, feminism, consumer culture and the urban environment. It reflects my many interests which include pattern and composition, architecture and everyday news”.
Nicole will be taking part in Cultivate‘s Interact group show at Coate Studios, 37 Coate Street, Hackney, London, E2 9AG. The show opens on Thursday evening June 15th (6pm until 9pm everyone welcome), and then runs from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th June, 11am until 6pm.
