On-line Exhibitions

Cultivate ihas of course mostly been about physical gallery shows, open doors, people, conversations, interaction, the art of hanging things on actual walls for actual people in actual spaces (or standing art on floors, or projecting art on walls or letting people perform within them), but we do also, as an addition to the focus on physical events, run on-line shows. The first, a group show called Red opened back in February 2017, the latest shows, Mixtape No.1 and No.2, the latest Three x Three shows followed the Burst, Impart, Book and Deflect exhbitions that opened in the first four months of 2022, and now here we are in 2023 and we’ve just kicked off 2023 with a Spring Series that has started with Mixtape No.3 and Three x Three (Part 7)

We ran an Autumn/Winter series of shows that started in September 2022 with a new Three x Three show and a new group exhibition called Mixtape No.1 both of which can be viewed right now via the links you just passed. We followed up with a sixth Three x Three show, Part Six opened on October 25th, and Mixtape No.2 in November

And then, the 2023 Spring Season of Cultivate exhibitions. A season that started with Mixtape No.3, the season will run between Febraury and late April with more Mixtape shows, more Three x Three shows, and a series of solo shows.

.

All 29 carefully curated cultivated on-line shows can be viewed via our sister site, the Organ magazine website, this link will take you to them all. Do run the slide shows, we tried to keep it nice and simple, all about running the slide show viewing it all on a decent sized monitor, something a little more respectful to the art than a phone can ever bE. Explore the work and then do please head for the websites of the artists who interest you, there are links to all the artists with each show….

UPDATE: March 7th 2022 – We took a break after Saturation, partly to focus on some of our own art and partly to give everyone a break. We like how these reccent on-line shows have worked though, we said we’d be back with the first of the 2022 shows, Deflect, on Tuesday January 11th and indeed Deflect did open that night, almost 24 hours on from the opening of the show and it had been viewed just over 20,000 times by people from all over the globe. There’s certainly a place for these on-line shows, view Deflect here.

A second on-line show of 2022 opened on February 22nd 2022, a show called Book, this time with a theme, view Book here. It is our intention to run monthly on-line shows again during 2022, Impart will open on March 15th. And there is now a companion show to Book. Books (a companion exhibition) can be viewed here

Previously…

The Saturation show is now open and can be explored via this link right here. We’ran an on-line show every month for the first six months of 2021, six shows felt like quite a run, we did toy with the idea of making the shows monthly for the entire year but it does feel like everyone needs a greak now. These 15 or so Covid-ravaged month havebeen tough, the on-line shows felt right but now we need to get back out there for a bit, there will be more on-line shows. Do enjoy the Saturation show, we’re rather pleased with it, we’re rather pleased with all the show (and all the resulting engagement), we have no plans to close any of the shows, why would we?

The Saturation show is now open and can be explored via this link right here.
