Time for another update, first a big big thanks to everyone who has been along to recent shows, especially the Greatest Hits first year retrospective celebration/ Thanks to everyone who came to the rather eventful LayLo show, took part in our Free Art Friday and came along to last week’s rather successful Shoes opening, You’ll find photos from all the recent shows on the gallery Facebook page, including the current Shoes show, here There’s a video of the rather full on LayLo opening, including the live art and Charlie McFarley’s paintings, that colourful video can be viewed here.

The SHOES group show opened last week and continues, in it’s high-heeled glory, this week. Shoes everywhere, paintings, sculptures, installations, photos, put on yours and come explore this week before it all comes down again, usual gallery times (there’s some very reasonably prices pieces for sale as well). We’re rather pleased with this show, we like to keep it evolving at Cultivate…
In Rust We Trust flyer
Next week things get rusty. Opening on First Thursday, October 4th, we have MYDOG SIGHS’ In Rust We Trust show. Featuring the work of Can Man Mydog Sighs as well as the rust of LOS DAVE, M-ONE and the 3d work of HAYLEY KENDAL. The show will open on Thursday 4th 6pm and run for one week at Cultivate. Getting lots of e.mail and phone calls about this show, especially about the cans and the limited edition print release from Mydog that will happen at the show. There will be no advance sales or on-line previews for this show, we open at 6pm on Thursday 4th and all work will go on sale at the gallery that evening, photos will go up on line on the Facebook page straight after the Thursday opening and anything unsold, including any of the 12 framed cans, will be available on line that night…
NEXT ARTIST CALL: PRIMARIES….
Opening on First Thursday November 1st, a two week group show at Cultivate Vyner Street. PRIMARY COLOURS…. One wall full of blue work, one wall full of yellow, one wall full of red flavoured work – One plinth blue, one plinth yellow, one plinth red That’s right, we have three prominent white walls, one will be filled with art that’s dominated by a red flavour, one blue and one yellow… same goes for the three plinths….Artists who wished to get involved in this group show should get in touch for more details,,, Cultivate in an artist-run space, we like people to get involved – info@cultivatevynerstreet.com
