RE-UP @ CULTIVATE, VYNER STREET, LONDON
DAY TWO: FRIDAY MORNING. The show went up yesterday, so far the artists involved are EMMA HARVEY, GARETH MORGAN, GENEVIEVE HATTON-BROWN, JEAN-LUC ALMOND, INFINITY BUNCE, MERVYN SYNA, RICHARD BATTY, SEAN WORRALL, SIXONESIX, TIM GOFFE and XXXORA with more to be added as the re-up evolves
RE-UP is HAPPENING NOW and until FIRST THURSDAY 7th NOVEMBER and curated as it evolves by Sean Worrall
RE-UP is an open call group show done a little differently, Re-up happening right NOW on our corner of Vyner Street. An eight day art re-up, a one week replenishment running until close of play on First Thursday evening (the doors will close sometime after 9pm at the end of First Thursday evening). RE-UP will be a one week replenishing of our walls featuring…. Well, watch this space this is spontaneous, we’ll announce the artists on a daily basis via our gallery blog and Facebook pages
We’re doing things different this week at Cultivate this week (we always like to do things a little differently at Cultivate)/ We want things to be a little more spontaneous at Cultivate this week, time to re-up the cultivation, we’ve all got a little too blasé about life down the street, we’ll miss it when it finally goes…
DAY ONE – EMPTY PLINTH AWAITING A RE-UP
RE-UP opens on Thursday October 31st, there will be no late evening view (private or otherwise) on the first day, the late evening will be the last night of Re-Up on First Thursday November 7th. Usual gallery opening times, 11.30am until 6pm Thursday to Sunday, or by appointment Monday to Wednesday.
RE-UP – DAY ONE
The show will change everyday as things evolve, artwork will move around, things will change everyday, new work will hopefully arrive, work will be created in the gallery. At the moment there is quite a bit of my work, up to you to make me want to change that, if you have something exciting then I’ll replace my work with your, or move mine to the side
THE HANG
RE-UP opened on the 31st October and run until November 7th where we shall end with a late night opening on First Thursday evening, 6pm until 9pm, We will add to the show throughout the week The show will then come down on Friday November 8th and the doors at Cultivate will close.
ARTISTS who wish to be part of the show are invited to submit a j.peg or two (not dozens please, pick one or two that you really want to show, not your entire portfolio), of the piece(s) send in images of what you’d like to show and a link to your website (so we can explore who you are if we don’t know you and your work already). I will be going through each days submissions once the gallery has closed, if you submit work today, you will get a response after 6pm tonight and you will be invited t bring in the work tomorrow. I will NOT be on-line during gallery opening hours, I will be painting, talking and re-uping in the gallery… if you want to get involved then please contact info@cultivatevynerstreet.com
