“Let’s Create”? Why not, we’ve been saying it for years…

And yes, that Let’s Create logo is taken directly from Arts Council England’s website, it is deliberately taken, my anger in terms of the Arts Council is increasing by the hour. They did send me a Facebook message to say their Complaints Team were “preparing a response”. Create was something we regularly shouted via the pages of Organ back in the day, it was a slogan we pasted on walls, hung in venues, Create was always the message. Organ these days, as you may or may not know, is Cultivate’s sister website, Organ has a much longer history that Cultivate, Organ has been covering art, music, underculture and more for years, decades,, Organ started as a handmade hand-painted zine back when we were art students, back whe nit was all about manual typewriters and broken photocopies. Organ has taken many forms over these years, there’s days Organ mostly happens as a daily webpage, although there are still things happening on the radio and such. Here, for those who haven’t been checking recently are a list of recent features, including features on quite a few of te artists who have been involved in recent Cultivate shows. Let’s create? Yeah right…
