ARTIST CALL – “JOIN ME & OCCUPY MY WALL SPACE for INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2014”

IWD_3EMMA HARVEY says JOIN ME & OCCUPY MY WALL SPACE for INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2014 –  “Inspiring Change”

Call for artists to come join me and fill up my wall space at Cultivate Evolved in celebration of International Women’s Day 2014.

Cultivate has now Evolved; we are ten artists each with our own distinct wall spaces, ours to use in whatever way we wish (each space is at least 120cm wide and 290cm high), and for the month of March I want artists to occupy my wall space with me to mark International Women’s Day 2014.

International Women’s Day has been observed since the early 1900’s. Annually on 8th March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. The UN theme for International Women’s Day 2014 is “Inspiring Change” so let’s do just that!

Come and occupy my wall space – fill it full with paintings, drawings, photography, prints, textiles, words… to create a vibrant, busy wall, bursting full of female energy and positive creativity!

CREATE & GET INVOLVED:

Art will need to be delivered (and hung) on Wednesday 5th March. We shall open late for First Thursday on 6th March (6-9pm) and celebrate the day itself on Saturday 8th March. The wall will stay up (and hopefully evolve) until Tuesday 1st April.

Please submit your work and ideas to me at info@cultivatevynerstreet.com (nothing bigger than A3 please, 40cm x 30cm) and mark your emails for the attention of Emma.
