OFF TO THE SEASIDE….

Where were we? Why am I asking you? You don’t know where we are, well you do know we ddin;t go on holiday, Art Does Not Go On Holiday. Thanks for all the postcards, and we are off on another day trip, this time to Folkestone and the third and final part of the 2014 Art Car Boot Fair adventure that has taken us from Brick Lane, via Liverpool to this week and the Fringe of the Folkestone Triannual and a Saturday by the seaside… We’ve documented it in previous blogs, with full details of the artist line up both in terms of Cultivate and the Art Car Boot Fair in general, Tracey, Gavin, Peter and such, and no doubt we shall mention it a few times more before (and after Saturday)

It would be rather rude of us London-based artists to take Cultivate to Folkestone without including a Folkestone artist though, awfully bad form (as Julia might say) And we do have one of our favourite painters down there (is Folkestone down there or up there?)  in the shape of a painter who has regularly shown his work on out Vyner Street walls over the last almost three years

So joining the Cultivate Evolved regulars – SEAN WORRALL, EMMA HARVEY, QUIET BRITISH ACCENT, MATHEW TUDOR, JULIA MADDISON and such down by the seaside this coming (no doubt very sunny) Saturday , is Folkestone painter TIM SKINNER.  We do hope we see some of you down there, looks like there’s lot going on both at the Art Car Boot Fair and in terms of Folksteone and the Fringe ans the Triennial in general

The Folkestone leg of the Art Car Boot Fair happens on Saturday August 30th, Midday until 4pm, all part of the Folkestone Triennial….  See you by the seaside for Art Car Boot Fair part three…. There’s a whole load of photos and flavours from part one and two, London and Liverpool here, as well as more details… Art does not go on holiday, but it does go on day trips to the seaside…
