Future shows, Self, Alright? On we go…

A slice of lasr year#s Why? Show

Start of February, we are still getting on with a busy programme of on-line shows, I expect they will happen at least once a month is 2021 for as long as we can keep things going. ReCultivate opened in January, Self will happen in February and Alright? will take place in March. We’re also working on a number of socially distanced outside events that we will have ready for when things start to lift and the weather decides to be a little more friendly.,

Self – on-line from Tuesday February 23rd 2021. Watch this space. Self will be about inviting artists to produce self portraits. we might invite artists who you’d maybe expect to produce self portraits, we might challenge one or two people to come up with something, let’s see where this one goes, maybe we’ll ask people to dig deep into old sketch books, we’ll ask painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers… Please note there is NO open call element, this one is by invitation only.

Alright? – On-line from Tuesday March 16th Watch this space, Alright will follow ReCultivate, another pro-active group show, alive with carefully slected artists, art, and those all important links so you can go find out more about the artists taking part. There is an open call element to this show, the details are here.

We encourage artists both old and new to Cultivate to submit work to the Alright open call

Our first show of 2021 opened at the start of the January, an on-line group show called ReCultivate. A continuation in terms of last year’s shows, an exercise in hitting the ground of the new year running. The show once again is hosted on our sister site and home of Organ magazine, this link right here will take you directly to ReCultivate
